In the 1980's Michael Rottenberg established MJR Development Corporation (MJR) as a premier developer of upper scale Single Family residential Communities in the US Northeast Region.

In 1983, MJR started and completed a 250 home development in the municipality of Old Bridge, NJ.

From 1986-1988 MJR developed a community of 100 townhouse residences in Little Egg harbor, NJ. while simultaneously completing a medium size retail mall on the busy Rt. 9 Highway in Central NJ.

In 1990, MJR developed 33 luxury homes in Monsey, NYC; a growing upper calls suburb in Rockland County. Simultaneously, MJR developed 67 SRF lots in the NYC borough of Staten Island, NY along with another 12 high-end million dollar homes.

In 1993, MJR built a 110 unit Bayville, New Jersey.

In 1996, MJR undertook a massive 435 unit development in Lawrence Twp., NJ which has just been completed and sold out in 2006.

Although MJR's primary focus is property development, we have also invested in numerous projects with other builders.

Our expertise, risk assessment, and adeptness as maneuvering through building and zoning communities, as well as our capital outlay have made our partnership a valuable commodity sought after by many of the regional builders.
